    Arrive in London. Your driver will transfer you to your centrally located hotel. Freshen up at the hotel before enjoying a leisurely stroll along the Thames riverside and watch the street artists and performers.
    The day starts early, with a private “behind the scenes” tour of the Houses of Parliament as it is being prepared for the days law-making, followed by a highlights sightseeing tour of London.

    In the afternoon, discover the buzzing food culture on a walking food tour in London.

    Blenheim Palace - Cotswolds
    Your day begins with a guided tour of the beautiful Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew.

    In the afternoon, you will travel into the
    Cotswolds, an officially designated “Area of Outstanding Beauty” and visit Blenheim Palace for a private guided tour. This World Heritage Site was modeled on the French Palace of Versailles and is also the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill.

    The next 3 nights you will stay in a magnificent English country estate in
    Berkeley - Bath - Gloucester
    The day starts with a private tour of Berkeley Castle, guided by the actual owner whose family have lived there for 800 years.

    Then it's on to the
    World Heritage city of Bath, for a tour of the original 2000-year-old Roman Baths and Bath Abbey. Time to taste the unique Bath bun at a historic tea shop and explore the boutiques and artisan shops.

    Late in the day, enjoy the spectacle of
    Choral Evensong at Gloucester Cathedral before returning to your hotel for a well-deserved rest.
    After breakfast, leave for a tour through the Cotswolds. Passing picture-book cottages and villages, you will arrive in Stratford-upon-Avon. Take a tour of William Shakespeare’s Birthplace with exclusive access to the library and archive.

    In the afternoon, visit
    Mary Arden's Farm, the home of Shakespeare’s mother that is still a working Tudor Farm. Experience unique the sights, sounds and smells of that era.
    Blaenavon - Cardiff
    Leave England to head over the border into Wales, pausing for a private tour of a craft cider maker with tutored tastings.

    Pass through picturesque villages and mountains to the
    Blaenavon World Heritage Site for a special visit to the Big Pit. Take the underground tour to live the experience that brought great wealth to the region a hundred years ago.

    Overnight in a 5-star hotel in Wales capital city of Cardiff.

    We start the day with a visit to St. Fagans, the National Museum of Wales, one of Europe’s leading open-air museums. This is where the evolution of 1000 years of the distinctive culture of the Welsh nation comes alive.

    Then taste the food and drink of Wales on a
    private city walking tour and discover the history of the capital city, sampling local produce, visiting markets and learning the local cuisine.

    The day finishes with a spectacular
    Spirit of Wales dinner show, with fine dining and Welsh music and song at the magnificent Millenium Centre, overlooking Cardiff Bay.
    Wedgwood China Factory - Stoke-on-Trent
    An early start today as you will leave Wales for the north of England. After a brief visit to a collection of artisan craft workshops in the pretty countryside, you will arrive at the famous Wedgwood China factory, where you can see china being made before it is exported across the world. Here you will create your own china pot or decorate your own personal Wedgwood item at a tutored workshop which will be shipped home for you.

    Enjoy a restful night at a luxurious hotel near Stoke-on-Trent.

    Today, we visit heritage city of York with its medieval city walls, cobbled streets and ancient buildings. Your private walking tour includes the Minster (the Cathedral) and the National Railway Museum.

    Then you will visit a
    local brewery for a tour and tasting before returning to Swinton Park, where the owners will welcome you for an exclusive private talk about their family estate and an afternoon tea tasting. This evening the multi award winning executive chef at Swinton Park, Simon Crannage, will host you for a chef’s table dinner.
    Alnwick - Edinburgh
    Alnwick Castle and Gardens are today’s highlight visit. The home of the Duke of Northumberland family for over 700 years, the castle was featured in the TV Show Downton Abbey as Brancaster Castle and as Hogwarts School in the Harry Potter movies.

    Then head over the border into
    Scotland, where you will enjoy a panoramic tour of Edinburgh, often known as the Athens of the North for its fine classical architecture.
    Today, you will discover the highlights of Scotland’s capital city, starting with a private “behind the ropes” tour of Queen Elizabeth’s Palace of Holyrood including private areas used by the Royal Family not normally open to the public.

    You will then take a tour of the 1000-year-old Edinburgh Castle, which still dominates the city. Once the home of the Scottish Kings and Queens, it is now an internationally acclaimed World Heritage site. The afternoon is free for you to explore at leisure the Royal Mile, the Scottish National Gallery of Art or the shops on Princes’ Street.

    Enjoy a fabulous evening of traditional Highland entertainment at the Scottish Dinner & Show in the city center. 
    Scottish Highlands
    After breakfast, your tour heads into the mountains for a day of adventure with a Highland Land Rover Safari and a red deer and barn owl encounter. Here your kilted safari ranger will share his passion for Scotland’s nature, culture and history.

    Surrounded by the magnificent wild and mountainous countryside, the rest of the day is spent relaxing with a glass of whisky at a premier Scotch distillery, with a private tour and tasting.

    Enjoy a farewell dinner on this final night of your tour - you will be piped in to the restaurant by a Scottish piper and can look forward to a wonderful meal skillfully prepared using the finest of local produce.
