These terms and conditions apply to all tours arranged by Great Vacations LLC dba as Finest Journeys departing between January 1 2019 and December 31 2019 and for all future years until updated. The company will be referred to throughout this document as Finest Journeys.
TOUR RESERVATION AND PAYMENT
A deposit of 25% (min $1000 per person) is required at the time of booking. We accept payment via credit card, certified check, wire transfer or money order. The balance is due 90 days prior to departure. If your reservation is made within 90 days of departure, the entire cost of the trip must be paid at the time of confirmation.
Custom Journeys payment may vary from the above according to individual itinerary. You will be advised of any such variation at time of booking. We may also require a non- refundable tour planning fee of $250 that will be credited to your final payment.
Failure to make payments as scheduled above may results is cancellation of your tour booking and loss of deposits.

Internal air and some elements in custom built tours (event tickets etc) are non refundable and will be charged in addition to the above cancellation fees.
Finest Journeys will always endeavour to operate all tours, but many operational circumstances and tour itinerary elements are outside our control. We reserve the right to cancel a tour at any time for any reason and Finest Journeys will not be responsible for any additional expenses that may occur as a result of such cancellation.
AMENDMENTS AND BOOKING CHANGES
Finest Journeys will always try to accommodate your requested changes to a deposited reservation. Any such change may result in a $100 per person change charge plus any additional charges for extra or modified services.
Finest Journeys reserves the right to modify a tour itinerary as it deems necessary or desirable and will inform you of any such changes. In such an event, you will have the right to cancel your reservation without cancellation charges and Finest journeys will not be responsible for any additional expenses (including airfares) that may occur as a result of such cancellation.
PRICING
Journey pricing is quoted on a per person basis unless otherwise specifically mentioned and is based on current costs and rates of exchange at time of publication. Finest Journeys reserves the right to amend prices up to 30 days prior to date of travel.
GUARANTEED DEPARTURES
All Small Group Journeys are guaranteed to depart but Finest Journeys reserve the right to amend the published itinerary and price if they deem the number of guests is too small to make up a group journey. You will have the right to cancel your reservation without cancellations charge in such an event and Finest Journeys will not be responsible for any additional expenses (including airfares) that may occur as a result of such cancellation.
TOUR INCLUSIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
All accommodations, internet in hotels, hotel taxes, arrival and departure transfers, transport with bottled water, English speaking guides, sightseeing, excursions and meals with water/ soft drinks as stated in your tour itinerary are all included in the cost of your tour. Luxury escorted journeys also include the services of a Finest Journeys Tour Director and hotel porterage for up to two suitcases per person.
The following items are not included in your tour cost:- Travel Protection insurance, international flights, tips, alcohol, excess baggage charges, personal expenses, visa and border charges
TRAVELERS’ RESPONSIBILTIES
Experience of local cultures is an important and enjoyable part of the Finest Journeys tours. Travelers should be ready to enjoy cultural differences with grace and sensitivity. For the enjoyment of others smoking and usage of mobile telephones is discouraged at meals, on buses, and during other journey activities.
To enjoy your Finest Journeys small group tour, guests should be have a minimum level of fitness. It is important that you advise Finest Journeys at time of booking request if any member of your party has any physical impairment that could cause a hazard for him/ herself or others. Travelers who are disruptive, endanger themselves or other guests during the travel experience or break local laws may be removed from the journey with no refund due and at their own expense. Participants are subject to local visa or stay regulations, and any charges incurred due to violation of those regulations will be their own expense.
Promotional Photography
Finest Journeys reserves the right to take photographs and / or videos during the operation of any tour or part thereof and to use them for promotional purposes. By booking a tour with Finest Journeys, guests agree to allow their images to be used in such photographs. Guests who prefer that their images not be used are asked to make this request known in writing at time of booking.
TRAVEL PROTECTION INSURANCE
It is a requirement of travel with Finest Journeys that all guests carry full travel insurance including medical and repatriation cover. Finest Journeys offer National Tour Association (NTA) recommended policies offered by AON.
Insurance details
LIMITS ON RESPONSIBILITIES
Finest Journeys and its affiliates, owners, officers, agents, employees, contractors, and subcontractors purchases transportation, hotel accommodations, restaurant services, and other services from various independent suppliers that are not subject to its control. Neither Finest Journeys, nor any associate organization, agent, employee, contractor or subcontractor shall be held liable for any act, default, injury (including death), loss, expense, damage, deviation, delay, curtailment or inconvenience caused to or suffered by any person or their property, howsoever arising, which may occur or be incurred by any organization or person, even though such act, default, injury, loss, expense, damage, deviation, delay, curtailment or inconvenience may have been caused or contributed to: (a) by the act, neglect or default of Finest Journeys, (owners, officers, agents, employees, contractors, and subcontractors) or of any persons for whose acts it would otherwise be responsible, or (b) defects or failures of any aircraft, vessel, automotive vehicle or other equipment or instrumentality under the control of independent suppliers. In addition, Finest Journeys will not be liable for delays in departure or interruption of your vacation arrangements caused by weather conditions, technical problems of any aircraft, vessel, automotive vehicle or other equipment or instrumentality, strikes, war, terrorist activity, civil commotion or any causes beyond the control of Finest Journeys. In no event will Finest Journeys be responsible for incidental, consequential or special damage or loss suffered by any person. Finest journeys’ maximum liability, for any reason whatsoever, will be limited to the amount paid to Finest Journeys for its services. In issuing tickets and coupons for transportation of the purchaser by any means and making arrangements for hotel or other accommodation, Finest Journeys is not acting as principal but only as agent for the companies, corporations or persons providing or offering the means of transportation and accommodation. To the extent Finest journeys shall not be acting as an agent, as stated above, it shall be deemed to be acting as an agent of the purchasers in arranging or booking transportation and accommodation.
In addition and without limitation, Finest Journeys is not responsible for any injury, loss, death, inconvenience, delay or damage to personal property in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from but not limited to acts of God or force majeure, illness, disease, acts of war, civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of services, food poisoning, mechanical or other failure of aircraft or other means of transportation or for failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time.
RISKS
You understand and acknowledge that your travel in connection with and participation in your tour arranged at your request by Finest journeys may involve risk and potential exposure to injury and possibly death. You also realize and acknowledge that risk and dangers may be caused by the negligence of the owners, directors, employees, contractors, subcontractors, officers or agents of Finest Journeys or the negligence or participation of other participants, contractors and/or subcontractors to Finest Journeys. You also recognize and acknowledge that risk and dangers may arise from foreseeable and unforeseeable causes, including weather and other acts of nature. You fully understand and acknowledge that the aforementioned risks, dangers, and hazards are a potential in connection with recreational activities which may take place during your trip. You agree to assume responsibility for all such risks with regard to these possibilities.
TRAVEL ADVISORIES AND WARNINGS
It is the responsibility of the guest to become informed about the most current travel advisories and warnings by referring to the U. S. State Department's travel website at www.travel.state.gov/ or by phone at 1-888-407- 4747. In the event of an active State Department Travel Warning against travel to the specific destination location(s) of the trip, should the guest still choose to travel, notwithstanding any travel advisory or warning, the guest assumes all risk of personal injury, death or property damage that may arise out of the events like those advised or warned against.
ARBITRATION AGREEMENT
Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating in any way to these Terms and Conditions, to the Responsibility Clause, to the brochure, or any information relating in any way to the trip, or to the trip itself, shall be settled solely and exclusively by binding arbitration in Delaware, US, in accordance with the rules of the Arbitration Association then existent.
