Bucharest
Start your day with a rich breakfast. Your tour guide will then take you on a tour of the historic center of Bucharest. You will start at the Parliament Palace, the biggest building in Europe. Afterwards, take a walk around the Old Town to see why Bucharest was once called 'The Little Paris.' You'll continue visiting the open-air Village Museum, which offers an authentic look into the country's past.
Rest of the day at leisure. You can relax at one of the many cafes in the Old Town or admire the historic buildings on Victory Avenue.

Brasov
Today you begin your adventure through Romania.
First stop is Sinaia, to visit the Peles Castle - one of the best preserved royal castles in Europe. Continue with the city of Brasov, situated in the heart of the Carpathian Mountains. Your guide will take you on a historic journey across the town so you can admire the imposing Black Church - the main Gothic style monument in the country - and the beautiful old town where you will walk on one of the narrowest streets in Europe.

Bran
After breakfast, prepare for a special encounter with a count. He will be waiting for you at his private home, the famous Bran Castle. Take in the mysterious aura of the place with a stroll over the numerous rooms and underground passages.
Continue west towards Sibiu. On your way, you will wander through the stunning landscape of the Carpathian Mountains and drive on the most thrilling road in Romania. Your hotel is situated in the heart of a mountain resort, which offers beautiful views of Romania's natural wonders.

Sibiu
Meet your guide and travel to Sibiu, where you will walk through the cobbled streets and romantic squares, hear the legends behind the Bridge of Lies and find more about this medieval city.

Alba Iulia
You will be transferred to Hunedoara, where you can find one of the best-preserved castles in Romania, Corvin Castle, which once belonged to a Transylvanian family that ruled the kingdom of Hungary.
Afternoon at will in Alba Iulia, 'the other capital' of Romania. Witness the Changing of the Guard Ceremony that takes place every day during the summer period, with the troops from the city's Austrian Empire's infantry and cavalry dressed in their traditional military costumes.

Targu Mures
In the morning, your tour guide will wait for you at the hotel. Start with a walking tour around the largest citadel in Romania and a city with monumental historical significance. Afterwards, your coach will take you to Turda. On your way, you'll see snippets of the beautiful Romanian countryside, with horse carriages transporting hay and cows and sheep crossing the street.
Once in Turda, visit the fabulous Salt Mine, with its fun theme park an its sparkling lake. Go on a boat ride inside this underground wonderland and take in the fresh air. You'll arrive to Targu Mures late afternoon.

Sighisoara
Today you'll pass through Biertan, a frozen-in-time village, with a unique atmosphere. Its fortified church is a beautiful UNESCO site that deserves a visit. Your group will then have lunch in a gorgeous setting, followed by a horse-carriage ride through the Transylvanian landscape, which will leave you enchanted. Enjoy a tour of Sighisoara, a perfectly intact gem with narrow streets and medieval clock towers.
Afternoon at will back in Brasov, where you can see the breathtaking views over the city on Tampla Mountain or eat the best pancakes in town.

Snagov
Your journey through Romania is coming to an end. Start your last day in this beautiful country with a cable-car ride up the Bucegi Mountains. Up in the mountains, you will see two stone figures which have a link to some of the most famous legends and superstitions in Romania.
Continue to Snagov, a natural reservation. Here you can visit the Snagov Monastery, go on a boat ride or kayak on Lake Snagov to admire the beauty of the area. Have dinner in the Lake Pavilion, after which you'll arrive back in Bucharest.
