    Itinerary at a Glance

Arrival in London. Your personal driver will escort you to your centrally located hotel and give you a short welcome to London. The rest of the day is for you to relax and settle in at leisure or to start exploring this classic city. London is a true global capital, once the heart of the British Empire, with a rich heritage and more than 2,000 years of history to discover.

Your guide will meet you after breakfast for a full day sightseeing tour. You will begin at the Tower of London and the Crown Jewels, followed by Westminster Abbey, the Churchill War rooms and much more.

Your uniformed coachman will greet you at your hotel. Prepare for a horse drawn sightseeing tour in a traditional carriage passing through the Royal Parks, stopping en route to view London highlights such as Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square.

In the afternoon you are invited into the home of one of Britain’s most eminent experts of English Afternoon Tea, for an exclusive half day baking workshop. Learn closely guarded recipes for the perfect Victoria sponge cake, tasty traditional scones, and crumbly melt-in-the-mouth shortbread

Leave London for a tour of the Cotswolds, an officially designated “Area of Outstanding Beauty”. On your way there, you will visit Blenheim Palace. This World Heritage Site was modeled on the French Palace of Versailles and is also the birth place of Sir Winston Churchill.

Spend the rest of the day discovering the English countryside, trying out the tasteful Cotswolds cream tea and relaxing at a cozy little pub. Arrive in Cheltenham in the evening and check-in in the hotel where you will stay for the next 3 nights.

The day starts with a tour of Berkeley castle, an ancient fortress home to the Berkeley Family. They have lived there since their ancestor, Robert Fitzharding, completed the Keep in the late 12th Century. Then its on to the World Heritage city of Bath for a tour of the original 2000 year old Roman Baths and Bath Abbey. Time to taste the unique Bath bun at a historic tea shop and explore at leisure the boutiques and artisan shops.

After breakfast, spend your morning admiring picture-book cottages and villages on your way to Stratford-upon-Avon, birthplace of William Shakespeare. This lovely city offers the perfect combination for a relaxed afternoon. You can learn about the writer's life starting with a visit to his Birthplace House and New Place. Then enjoy a walk around town, by the river Avon, to see what inspired his greatest works.

In the afternoon visit Mary Arden's Tudor Farm, home of Shakespeare’s mother, and experience the sights, sounds and smells of a working Tudor farm. Meet the animals, talk to the Tudors, explore the woods and try Tudor food.

After breakfast, take a tour of North Cotswolds villages and explore an original Victorian brewery for a tasting tour. Continue towards London to visit Lord Rothschild’s mansion at Waddesdon Manor – a French Renaissance style chateau containing a fabulous collection of art, furniture and ceramics. Arrive in London late afternoon.
